Yasir is a diversity, inclusion, and equality leader whose work is focused on creative video journalism and storytelling. He is an expert at engaging with all types of people, strategizing, running, and increasing awareness of international social and corporate impact programmes. 

Yasir has delivered journalism programmes for The Guardian in India, South Africa, Australia and the USA; presented and consulted for BBC Action Media and BBC News, and is responsible for setting the strategy for HSBC's Inclusive recruiting 50/50 gender parity pledge.

Yasir is the recipient of several awards, including the Brit Writers Award for International Innovation in Publishing, People Management Magazine's Outstanding Achievement Award, and European Diversity Award finalist for Diversity Team of the Year.
